Navy house to house campaign

The Navy will launch a program to visit War Heroes families and discuss their problems. Navy personnel will visit houses of fallen and disabled War Heroes under this program. "Officers will note down grievances and problems of those families and try to solve them immediately.

Gift parcels will be distributed among these families. We should not forget fallen and disabled War Heroes, as they have protected the country sacrificing their lives," said Navy Commander Vice Admiral Thisara Samarasinghe.

The Navy Seva Vanitha Unit will also launch welfare programs and a Shramadana to celebrate the Navy's 60th anniversary.
