Eight porn stars identified

The Police Children and Women Bureau said eight porn stars displayed in newspapers were identified and there are more to be identified. A senior officer of the Police Children and Women Bureau told the Daily News that two were released on bail and other six were released after taking statements. They will be produced before the courts and legal action will be taken against them, he said.

Committee submits report on Welikada prison clash

The committee appointed to investigate the recent clash at the Welikada prison submitted its report citing the cause for the clash as irresponsible behavior of the police. The report produced by the Committee submitted to the Rehabilitation and Prison Reforms Ministry Secretary yesterday.
