Thief arrested

Central Province Police Anti-terrorist Unit yesterday arrested a person who had robbed Rs 12,000 from a businessman at Mawanella. The robbers posing as police officers had stopped the three-wheeler in which the businessman was travelling on the pretext of searching for cannabis and had obtained the money by intimidating him. Police are on the lookout for the rest of the gang that took part in the robbery.
