MY MAP IS CHANGED.....

A change, excavations, unbelievable
Mother Sri Lanka thinks to herself;
My children in my bosom with mighty desire
Now plans future, but not with flaming fire

Bumper harvests, smiles on every face
Why, she felt the ever lasting difference
My map is changed! new additions!
Man made harbour a virgin - a creation!

"Magamthota" past, "Hambanthota" now
Filled this socket with salty waters
Now another bluish harbour with white frills
Eldorado! what a charming bay still waters deep

In November when the maiden voyage is made
Into the virgin "Magamthota" how proud I would be
That is Dollars to my children fame to me
Mother Sri Lanka sent this message via the wind
