Garage worker killed

A garage worker died on the spot after a luxury bus collided with a motor cycle head-on at the Penideniya junction in Peradeniya on the Gampola main road yesterday. According to Peradeniya Police the death was a result of careless driving by the bus driver.

The deceased was a resident of Peradeniya. He was employed in a garage in Peradeniya. The bus driver is in police custody. Peradeniya police are investigating under the direction of Police OIC Upali Naranganawa.
