Arms cache found

Nuwara Eliya Special Police Unit has recovered a large haul of military equipment buried by the LTTE organization. These were found on a tip off from an LLTE cadre who is under arrest.

The cache of weapons include 15 clamore mines, 147 hand granedes, 41 RPG and over 500 ammunitions.

Police said they arrested several who had links with the LTTE.
