Self immolator dies

The man who set himself on fire opposite the UNP Headquarters "Sirikotha" on Monday succumbed to his injuries in the wee hours of yesterday at the Colombo National Hospital. The victim identified as Rienzie Algama(60) a staunch UNPer had set himself on fire demanding the non-implementation of party reforms.

He was transferred to the Colombo National Hospital and from there to the Kalubowila Teaching Hospital in a critical condition.
