Woman fraudster arrested

A woman suspect who had evaded arrest by many police stations was arrested by the Kandy police Fraud Bureau.

She was wanted in connection with defrauding foreign employment seekers and was alleged to have collected large sums of money from such people, police said.

There were 17 warrants issued for her arrest for cases in many parts of the country.
