Alleged murder suspect arrested

An Army deserter wanted by Police for the killing a Police Constable in November 2008, was arrested by the Galle Police.

He was in possession of a hand grenade at the time of the arrest, Police said.

A special Police team headed by SP M.N. Sisira Kumara is conducting further investigations.
