Suneth begins work on Sinhavalokanaya

The muhurath ceremony for Suneth Malinga Lokuhewa’s maiden cinema
creation Sinhavalokanaya was held on July 15 on the Jetliner, the ship
formerly used for humanitarian effort by the Sri Lanka Navy during the
era of terrorism.
Rayni Charuka Gunatileke, the daughter of singing duo Rookantha –
Chandralekha, and Dillon Jayasinghe are introduced to cinema in the
movie which focuses on patriotism and team spirit. Sanath Gunatileke,
Cletus Mendis, Jayalal Rohana, Dillhani Ashokamala, Damitha Abeyratne,
Pubudu Chathuranga, Ashen Manjula, Kanchana Mendis, Palitha Silva, G.R.
Perera, Gamini Hettiarachchi, Irangani Seneviratne, Kusum Renu, Moreen
Charuni, Kumara Thirimadura, Sarath Kothalawala, Menaka Rajapaksa,
Wasantha Kumaravila and others are also part of the cast.
Produced by Premaratne Vetakepotha, Thushira Radella, Prabath de
Silva and Pasan Chandrasekara, the movie will be shot in Kandy.
