National Chamber to conduct workshop
‘Improving productivity through existing equipment
and existing people’:
The National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka will conduct a one day
training workshop on “Improving productivity through existing equipment
and existing people” on July 21 from 9 a.m to 4.30 p.m at the Chamber
Auditorium, D.R. Wijewardene Mawatha, Colombo 10.
The resource person is Institute of Lean Management CEO/Consultant
Thilak Pushpakumara who had worked closely with Japanese consultants and
gained hands on experience in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
implementation at Unilever Sri Lanka. He has also been exposed to many
TPM factories in Japan, Vietnam and India.
He has been trained on TPM, TQM, Lean and Company-wide problem
solving in Japan and India and Safety Management Systems in Vietnam.
Pushpakumara was a former General Manager - Productivity Improvement and
Training & Development at Loadstar and former Plant Manager, Unilever
Sri Lanka.
