Leg spinner Imesh Udayanga captured five wickets for 63 to help NCC dismiss Sri Lanka Navy Sports Club for 259 runs in their first innings on the opening day of the SLC Under-23 division one three day cricket tournament match which began at Welisara yesterday.

Navy SC: 259 (C. Ruwansiri 77, M. Gunasinghe 45, U. Jayasundera 42, I. Udayanga 5 for 63, R. Laksiri 2 for 58, R. Wijenayake 2 for 58).

NCC: 0 for no loss.

Colts get 209

Paceman Nilanka Premaratne snapped up four wickets for 83 to help Ragama CC dismiss Colts CC for 209 runs in their first innings on the opening day of the SLC under-23 division one three day cricket tournament match which began at Havelock Park yesterday.

Colts CC: 209 (S. Silva 36, K. Perera 39, R. Silva 46, I. Jayaratne 34, N. Premaratne 4 for 83, K. Gajasinghe 3 for 83).

Ragama CC: 18 for 2.

Chilaw Marians CC were struggling at 237 for 8 in their first innings on the opening day of the SLC Under 23 division one three day cricket tournament match against Bloomfield which began at Reid Avenue yesterday.
