Chemistry Quiz contest

The Royal Australian Chemical Institute's annual written Chemistry quiz competition in schools will be held end of this month.

This is held as part of the Australian National Chemistry Week. Promotion and Popularization of Chemistry are primary objectives of this exercise.

The competition aimed at Popularizing Chemistry as a subject is conducted at both Junior and Senior Levels and covers students in the last six years in school.

This year 140 schools will participate in the examination.

Students from Years 11 and 12 will sit for the written examination in 41 centres throughout the country July 31 at 10 a.m.

All participants are awarded Certificates and mementos.

Institute of Chemistry Ceylon conducts this quiz program for the past 13 years in Sri Lanka for years 11 and 12 students.
