Promotions at Coca-Cola Beverages

Coca-Cola Beverages (Sri Lanka) Pvt. Ltd., promoted for two of its executives. Kapila Welmillage as the Country Human Resources Manager and Indika Perera as the Country Supply Chain Manager recently.

Kapila Welmillage assumes the role of Country Human Resources Manager to mark his entry into the Deputy Development Program, which will develop his general management skills and empower him to play a significant role in the CCS Group over the next three years. The former Country Supply Chain Manager joined the Coca-Cola Beverages Sri Lanka Team in 2003 as Country Demand Fulfilment Manager. Prior to this, he held senior management roles with Unilever over an extended period including that of Senior Plant Manager and Finance Manager.

Indika Perera's rise to the position of Country Supply Chain Manager was a natural corollary to his exemplary contribution in enhancing the company's manufacturing performance. Having joined the Coca-Cola Beverages Sri Lanka Team in 2005 as Plant Engineer (Production), he was appointed Manufacturing Manager in 2006, where he gained exposure in Quality Assurance and Logistics. Prior to joining CCS, Indika held different roles in his eight year career at Unilever, rising to the position of Product Development Manager.
