Big prize money for Milo knock-out champions

Stiff competition is expected at the Milo President's Trophy Schools
Under 20 rugby tournament with all the top eight schools participating.
To make the tournament more competitive a cash prize of Rs.200,000
for the winner and Rs.150,000 for the runner up will be presented by the
sponsors Milo disclosed the Vice President of Nestle Norman Kannangara.
He further said that since the tourney is a knock out one all teams
will have to produce the best which will create more spectator interest.
The Milo Trophy curtain raiser will be between traditional rivals
St.Joseph's and St.Peter's on July 8 at 4.00pm at the Royal College
Sports Complex grounds. All Milo Trophy encounter will be played at the
Royal College Sports Complex grounds.
The Premier Trophy matches will get underway on July 1 when
Dharmaraja will meet Royal Panadura at Longden Place. All the other
matches will also be played at the same venue.
On June 29 the Chairman's trophy first match between Ananda and the
winner of division two will be played at Longden Place.

July 9 . Royal Vs Trinity at RSCG at 2.30 pm, Wesley Vs Kingwood at
RSCG at 4.00pm
