Nabbed with LTTE leader’s photos and video clips

The Police Special Task Force (STF) arrested a youth in Vavunativu with photographs of LTTE leader Prabhakaran and video clips of LTTE activities against the Government. The STF arrested the suspect at Kurunnamunaya junction, Vavunativu Tuesday. Police Spokesman SP Prishantha Jayakody told the Daily News that the suspect, a resident of Kannankuda had stored all material in his mobile phone.

The images folder in the mobile phone consisted Prabakaran’s photographs and several LTTE members. It also included video clips created to build a heroic image of the Tigers terrorist activities. The phone also included a number of songs composed to the same effect. Vavunativu Police are investigating.
