Central Bank Governor for a further term of six years effective July 1,
2010.

Dr. Nalaka Godahewa has been appointed Sri Lanka Tourism Chairman.
The Sri Lanka Convention Bureau, Sri Lanka Tourist Board and Sri Lanka
Hotels Corporation will also come under Dr. Godahewa
CACCI Conference in July
The 24th CACCI Conference and Sri Lanka Economic Summit 2010 will be
held from July 5 to 7 at the Cinnamon Grand, Colombo.
Registrations and inquiries are flowing in from overseas
participants, whose interest has increased with the promise of an event
not to be missed.
As of date, over 50 participants from Australia, Bangladesh, India,
Japan, Malaysia, Pakistan, Philippines, Russia, Singapore and Taiwan
have already registered.
The fact that Sri Lanka is now unbridled in its enthusiasm to
encourage foreign investment and enter fast track development has
further enhanced the interest of the overseas business community. |
