Seminar on bi-lateral trade with USA

The National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka will hold a seminar/discussion on Bilateral Trade with the US Embassy on Thursday June 17 from 2.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. at the Chamber Auditorium, D.R. Wijewardene Mawatha, Colombo 10.

The participants will be briefed on Business Opportunities in the USA (Products and Services that are in demand in terms of both Export and Import), trade related rules and regulations duty/tariff issues, free trade agreements, joint venture/investment opportunities. The seminar will also be a forum to promote bi-lateral trade relations between Sri Lanka and the USA. US Ambassador in Sri Lanka, the Chief of the Economic Section, Director of Commercial Affairs and Commercial Specialist from the American Embassy will address the gathering.

Any problems Sri Lankan businessmen have when dealing with their counterparts in USA could also be taken up. At these discussions participants will also be able to directly interact with officials from the US Embassy.
