Rains will be back

Skin disease: Don’t fear
Skin diseases that have spread among the flood victims in Gampaha district was not communicable. The spread of the disease can be prevented through early medical treatment, Health authorities said.

The on set of the South West Monsoon will be delayed for another one week and thunder showers can be expected by mid week once again changing the present dry weather condition, a Meteorology Department senior official told the Daily News yesterday.

More rain can be experienced in the Western Province, Sabaragamuwa, Central Provinces and Galle and Matara districts before South Western Monsoon is established, the official added.
