Possession of explosives: Film producer remanded
Mirihana Police produced film producer Chandran
Ratnam before Nugegoda Acting Magistrate Tissa Wijeratne who ordered
him be remanded till today. According to Police Media Spokesman SP
Prishantha Jayakody, the film producer was arrested for possession
of four kilos and 955 grams of explosives and seven detonators.

Air Force passing out at Diyathalawa
A passing out of Sri Lanka Air Force was held at
the Air Force camp - Diyathalawa on May 26. The chief guest was
Chief Provost Marshal, Air Commodore SC Rabukkwalla. According to
the Air Force media spokesman Group Captain Janaka Nanayakkara, the
total number of recruits was 780.
