Kandy SC continue to head points table

Kandy Sports Club which has won the Caltex ‘A’ Division League rugby title for a record nine successive years continue to head the points table at the end of the week-end matches of the Caltex ‘A’ Division League.

The lads from Kandy who scored a hard fought 19-5 win over Army remain unbeaten having obtained 17 points from four outings. Their nearest challengers and runners up for the last six years CR and FC remain in second position after their smashing 32-8 win over Havelocks on Friday.

The unbeaten Red Shirts have collected 15.00 points from four games. The Sri Lanka Navy which is the only other unbeaten team are in third position despite being held to a 13-all draw by Sri Lanka Police. The sailors have got 12.50 points from four games.
