Futile attempt to tarnish country’s image
The vestiges of LTTE terrorists are in a
futile attempt to put the country in disrepute by issuing various
reports which has neither factual nor legal basis after the failure
of the US and western powers to meddle with its internal affairs,
Senior Lawyer S.L. Gunasekera said.

LTTE harassed fleeing girls - UN
The Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) had
forcibly cut the hair of girls trying to flee the conflict during
the last stages of the war to mislead the military into thinking
they were Tiger cadres, a latest UN report said.
