Foundation for Buddhagaya Chaitya

The foundation stone for the Buddhagaya Chaitya to be built at the Sri Sudhirarama Viharaya, Akurala, Kahawa, Galle will be ceremonially laid on May 28 at 10 a.m.

The Sudhiraramaya was destroyed by the 2004 tsunami and is being reconstructed with contributions of devotees. The event will be attended by Ministers and distinguished devotees and invitees.
