Laura and her amazing moves |
Straight from the entrance to the main ballroom to the colour to the
ambience to the waiters who were all dressed in the black trouser, white
shirt and red belt and to the glamour that was surrounding the Mount
Lavinia Hotel, everyone who were there know that it was an evening not
to forget as Spain took control of the night.

The Mount Lavinia Hotel, which is a hotel that let's every guest feel
at home with every feast and event they hold from around the world sure
did make the Spanish evening a spectacular one with a wonderful
performance by the renowned dancer Laura Segovia and great band La Tuna.
Laura, the dancing girl of the night, was moving her hips, her feet
and her body in a manner that echoed through the whole room and her
dancing which is called Flamenco dancing was catching fast with the
guests as she took some, like Keerthisri Karunaratne to the dance floor
to show them the steps. The band La Tuna and the voice of each
performer, made me feel like I was in an opera house. The tenors, the
guitars, the accordian and of course the hands and the legs were really
a treat to hear and watch. The night was enjoyed by every guest and I'm
pretty sure the guests would want them to come back and perform as I
would like them to.
