Kotelawala to quit Ceylinco Insurance

Ceylinco Group Chairman Dr. Lalith Kotelawala will not be available for re-election as a Director of Ceylinco Insurance. Ceylinco Insurance in a statement to Colombo Stock Exchange said Kotelawala has informed the board and staff that he will not be available for re-election as a Director of Ceylinco Insurance due to personal reasons.

A resolution on Kotelawala's re-lection will not be taken up at the firm's annual general meeting. Kotelawala will cease to be a Director of Ceylinco Insurance from May 28, the statement said.
