Brazil warns danger of ignoring Iran’s accord
Brazil: Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva
criticized the position of the United Nations Security Council of
ignoring the agreement reached with Iran, which gathers the demands of
the Western powers.
Lula made this warning, at a seminar: “alliance for a new global
economy” in Madrid said that the UN Security Council should negotiate
with disposition because if they negotiate without interest of
negotiation everything will be back to where it was before.
Last Monday, Iran, Brazil and Turkey signed an agreement which
expresses Teheran’s compromise to conduct outside its territory and
supervised the exchange of slightly enriched uranium for nuclear fuel
for Research Reactor, where medicines are produced. According to
state-run Agencia Brasil news agency the President said that it was
exactly what the U.S.A wanted to five or six months ago.
Washington called urgently to UN Security Council and delivered a new
proposal with new sanctions against Iran, supported by the other
permanent members. Brasilia, Prensa Latina
