reconciliation’ then (or now) and certainly no investigation on
crimes against humanity, perhaps because Christiani belonged to a
party that was founded by a man who was trained in the infamous
‘School of the Americas’. What hit me was this sign held by a woman:
‘50 percent Mexican, 50 percent Salvadorian, 100 percent American’.
