Ambalangoda Fisheries Harbour opened

Galle district M.P. Sajin de Vass Gunawardene opened the Ambalangoda Fisheries Harbour recently.

It was constructed at a cost of Rs. 640 million by the Fisheries Harbours Corporation.

President Mahinda Rajapaksa said the foundation stone for this when he was the Fisheries Minister.

Sajin Vass Guna-wardene said oil and water required for boats could be obtained from the harbour premises itself. He also pledged to take steps to remove sand and boulders close to the entry point shortly.

Fisheries Harbours Corporation Chairman, Asanka Abeygunasekera and several others also spoke.
