Transport uplift in South

The Southern Provincial Road Passenger Transport Authority is taking steps to uplift passenger transport services in far off remote rural areas in the South.

This new bus services would help rural people to easily transport their local produce to sub towns and main town in the Southern region, they said. Enhancement of rural bus services also the provision of a satisfactory transport service to the residents in the Southern region are the twin objectives of these projects, Southern Regional Road Passenger Transport Authority sources added.
