CIMA seminar
CIMA Sri Lanka will hold a special seminar on ‘The next strategy
paradigm’. Strategic performance measures monitor the implementation and
effectiveness of an organization’s strategies, determine the gap between
actual and targeted performance and determine organization effectiveness
and operational efficiency.
Causal Impact, CEO and Partner, Joint Business Research Group CEO and
Partner Dr. Dieter Kotte will lead seminar that will discuss the next
paradigm in performance measurement. This seminar offers a fresh start
to how management strategies should be systematically designed, tested,
implemented and monitored.
Innovative and hands-on Business-Intelligence (BI) approaches
applicable to a wide range of corporate sectors and industries will be
explained and evaluated. Participants will have the opportunity to learn
about new and more fool-proof ways of strategic performance enhancement:
state-of-the-art causal modelling – made in Germany. Easy to use it is
the only BI-approach which allows a simultaneous look at all KPIs
relevant to many typical strategic issues in today’s challenging
corporate world.
The content of the seminar will include an overview of strategic
management approaches (e.g. Balanced Scorecard, MIS); introduction to
the notion of causality in corporate and organizational settings;
identifying and quantifying the factors which impact on KPIs, ROI or
turnover; strategic causal analyses, strategic causal modelling,
benchmarking, monitoring and evaluation; international examples of
causal models applied in different industry sectors; strategic
frameworks, actual performance enhancement; benefits and limitations;
options for strategic performance enhancement at the participants’
companies
This one day workshop is scheduled to be held on Tuesday May 11 at
the Galadari Hotel and is expected to attract CEOs, Managing Directors,
CFOs, Financial Directors, CIOs and senior managers involved in
corporate planning, MIS or strategic database management. |
