‘The next strategy paradigm’:

CIMA seminar

CIMA Sri Lanka will hold a special seminar on ‘The next strategy paradigm’. Strategic performance measures monitor the implementation and effectiveness of an organization’s strategies, determine the gap between actual and targeted performance and determine organization effectiveness and operational efficiency.

Causal Impact, CEO and Partner, Joint Business Research Group CEO and Partner Dr. Dieter Kotte will lead seminar that will discuss the next paradigm in performance measurement. This seminar offers a fresh start to how management strategies should be systematically designed, tested, implemented and monitored.

Innovative and hands-on Business-Intelligence (BI) approaches applicable to a wide range of corporate sectors and industries will be explained and evaluated. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about new and more fool-proof ways of strategic performance enhancement: state-of-the-art causal modelling – made in Germany. Easy to use it is the only BI-approach which allows a simultaneous look at all KPIs relevant to many typical strategic issues in today’s challenging corporate world.

The content of the seminar will include an overview of strategic management approaches (e.g. Balanced Scorecard, MIS); introduction to the notion of causality in corporate and organizational settings; identifying and quantifying the factors which impact on KPIs, ROI or turnover; strategic causal analyses, strategic causal modelling, benchmarking, monitoring and evaluation; international examples of causal models applied in different industry sectors; strategic frameworks, actual performance enhancement; benefits and limitations; options for strategic performance enhancement at the participants’ companies

This one day workshop is scheduled to be held on Tuesday May 11 at the Galadari Hotel and is expected to attract CEOs, Managing Directors, CFOs, Financial Directors, CIOs and senior managers involved in corporate planning, MIS or strategic database management.
