Girls' school blown up in NW Pakistan
PAKISTAN: Unknown militants blew up a government girls' primary
school in the restive Mohmand tribal area, northwest of Pakistan,
official sources said on Thursday.
According to the official sources, militants blew up the girls'
primary school on Thursday morning in Anbar tehsil of Mohmand tribal
region.
The militants placed explosive materials in the building of the
school. The blast leveled the building to ground but no casualty has
been reported, local TV said.
Local TV channels reported that the number of schools so far
destroyed by militants in the Mohmand Agency has reached above 40.
