Umpires seminar in Jaffna

Sri Lanka Cricket Umpires Committee will conduct a five day training program for umpires began yesterday in the Jaffna District will continue till April 25 both days inclusive. The seminar will be conducted by instructors K.T. Francis and G. J. Pusparajah in Tamil.

The program and the examinations are conducted under the guidance of the Manager Umpiring committee. Umpires in the Jaffna district have been given this opportunity after eight years. Sri Lanka Cricket conducted a similar seminar way back in 2002.
