Seventy five schools for Singer Rugby League

The President Sri Lanka School Rugby Football Association
K.A.D. Punnyadasa received a ball to mark the All Island
Schools League Rugby Championship (2010) sponsorship from
Chairman, Singer Sri Lanka PLC Hemaka Amarasuriya at a press
briefing held at Sri Lanka Institute of Tourism and Hotel
Management Auditorium Colombo on Wednesday. Secretary
S.L.S.R.F.A Denzil Darling and Marketing Director Singer Sri

Singer Sri Lanka Ltd has come forward once again to sponsor the
Under-20 School Rugby League Tournament 2010.
The Singer Under-20 School League Rugby Tournament showcases the
talents and proficient of the 1st XV players from 75 schools and will
feature a total of nearly 300 matches in the Division I, II and III.
This tournament is being conducted in association with the Sri Lanka
Schools Rugby Association.
This will be an excellent start for the young players.
Singer (Sri Lanka) has a long and colourful history with the sport of
Rugby in Sri Lanka sponsoring ‘Bradby’ Shield for the 19th year, and
backing the champion Kandy Sports Club Rugby Squad to supporting the
International Rugby Sevens for the past ten years and also donation of
Rugby scoreboards to the Bogambara and Nittawela Rugby grounds, Rugby
pavilions at the Royal Sports Complex and the Pallekelle Rugby Ground.
