Major Gen Palitha heads AASL

Major General Palitha Fernando was reelected uncontested for the fourth successive year as the President of Athletic Association of Sri Lanka at the AGM held at Athletic Association, Colombo 7 yesterday.

Prema Pinnawala was also elected as General Secretary for fourth year.

G.L.S. Perera, Col Sudath Madugalle, Commodore Shamal Fernando, Deepal Gunasinghe, Anil Weerasinghe and H.W. Nimalasiri were elected as Vice Presidents of Athletic Association of Sri Lanka.

Chandana Ekanayake was elected as Treasurer.
