INTRAD Expo 2010 begins May 7

INTRAD - Expo 2010 International Trade Fair and Investor Forum will be held from May 7 to 9 at the BMICH. Colombo. On the second day of the exhibition which is May 8 an Investor Forum will also be held for potential investors in the country and from overseas.

The National Chamber Commerce of Sri Lanka in association with the Export Development and International Trade Ministry, Industrial Development Ministry, Enterprise Development and Investment Promotion Ministry, Sri Lanka Export Development Board, Board of Investment of Sri Lanka, Department of Commerce and Sri Lanka Tea Board will facilitate this forum.

Exhibitors who produce products and services in almost all the sectors in the economy namely agriculture, industry, plantations, manufacturing, light engineering, food processing, power and energy, tourism, health related services, environmental services, educational services, construction and engineering, ICT, banking, insurance and transport will exhibit their products and services making it an overall international event. NCCSL has invited trade delegations and investors from many countries through the Department of Commerce and Sri Lanka Export Development Board. Already many countries have assured their participation at INTRAD Expo 2010.

A number of stalls from sectors such as plantations, educational, services, industry, exporters, importers, manufacturing, ICT, others (Logistics), service providers have been reserved.

The investor Forum will be conducted under the guidance of the Board of Investment of Sri Lanka that will arrange presentations with regard to the investment opportunities available in Sri Lanka.

Relevant government agencies will also display the potential projects for investments.

Exporters, importers, manufacturers, service providers and investors from many other countries also have assured their participation.

The visitors will be exporters, importers, service providers, buyers sellers and those looking for investment opportunities and service providers such as banks, insurance companies and logistic providers.

INTRAD Expo will be a good opportunity for the Sri Lankan business community who wish to find markets for their products and services locally and internationally.

It will also be a good opportunity for exporters and importers from other countries to meet a large clientele from Sri Lanka and other countries. Sri Lanka Export Development Board is the co-sponsor and Board of Investment of Sri lanka is the sponsor for the investor forum.
