Cod liver oil - skin booster

Sound skin and hair care regimes are recognized as key beauty routines across the world today. As people lead busy and stress-filled lives, reliable products with powerful and innovative anti-ageing formulas are becoming more and more popular. Although newer and better products may provide better skin and hair care, the process of ageing cannot be reversed nor restore the beauty of skin and hair once lost through neglect or stress filled lifestyles. More than ever, scientists point out that a stress-free lifestyle focused on healthy eating, adequate exercise, maintaining a balanced mind set and a positive attitude will contribute to slowing down the effects of ageing.

Scientists also believe that dry and flaking skin and lifeless hair can result from the absence of certain essential vitamins, minerals and oils in the diet. Omega 3, recognized widely as nature’s magic portion of good health, is highly potent and essential to the human body. Omega 3 along with Vitamins A, D and E found in cod liver oil, restores moisture in the skin, makes the hair healthy and can contribute towards strong and healthy nails. The average Sri Lankan diet although high in fibre and is considered healthy, does not contain Omega-3 in adequate measures.

Seven Seas Cod Liver Oil capsules are marketed in Sri Lanka by Hemas Pharmaceuticals.
