SLINTEC website

The Sri Lanka Institute of Nanotechnology (SLINTEC) recently launched the first Sri Lankan nano-based information portal. Developed by Pyxle, it is an interactive web portal that acts as an information hub for nanotechnology research in Sri Lanka. The website www.susnanotec.lk is built on the latest web 2.0 technologies incorporating user participation, customizable interface and a state-of-the-art web design.

The purpose of the website is multipronged with key focus on creating awareness on nanotechnology amongst students, educate potential investors and clients on the research being done, enable the government to measure the performance of funding, provide a forum for scientists to share their thoughts, attract potential human resources, satisfy public curiosity and aid business sector decision makers in their planning and evaluation of nanotechnology.
