Avery Dennison victorious

Last Year's runners-up Avery Dennison Lanka came up with a stunning performance, as they emerged victorious by beating two time Champions, Shore to Shore 'A' by a massive margin of 49 runs in the final of the sixth Annul Printers Cricket Sixes concluded at the P. Sara Oval on Saturday. Avery Dennison led by Tharanga Lakmal scored 111 runs for the lost of 3 wickets in their 5 overs while Shore to Shore 'A' managed to score only 62 for 5 after 5 overs.

The tournament which attracted a record number of 44 teams was organized and conducted by Sri Lanka Association of Printers (SLAP).

Last year's winner, Print Care Packaging lost in the pre-quarter finals to Ceylon Lamminat.

In the play off for the third place, between the losing semi-finalists, Imashi Publications easily over came Sharp Graphic House.

Photo Digital International team who came all the way from Kalmunai to participate in the tournament was presented with special mementos in appreciation by SLAP. Former Sri Lankan cricketer and manager Brendon Kuruppu graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
