Soccer tourney at Ratnapura

Ratnapura Football League headed by Minister for Power and Energy W.D.J. Seneviratne has made arrangements to conduct a football tournament from today and will end on March 27. The organize's intention to conduct this tournament is to develop soccer in the district's schools and clubs. With this intention Ratnapura District FL has taken many steps to promote the sport in school by conducting seminars and coaching camps while arranging many tournament among the clubs in the district.

The winner in this tournament will go away with the W.D.J. Seneviratne Challenge Trophy. Saunders SC, play Ratnapura FL XI in an exihibition game on March 27 (Sunday).
