Minister predicts:

Five UPFA members to Parliament from Ampara

Five members from the UPFA would be elected from the Ampara district to the parliament in the up-coming general election, said Water Supply and Drainage Minister and UPFA Ampara District candidate A. L. M. Athaullah.

He said so at a public meeting held at Oluvil Tuesday.

In the meeting presided over by National Congress Oluvil Organizer A. C. Riyas Ahamed, the Minister said supporters of the SLMC and UNP have joined the UPFA in large numbers.

He said Muslims should support the UPFA and President Mahinda Rajapaksa who always loves the Muslim community and freed them from terrorism.
