In the upcoming election of the Republic of Sri Lanka everyone is hoping for peace and harmony to build the nation together. So politicians, like parents having passion for their children, should have passion for the citizens to build the nation together.

"Passion envisages a vision"

"Mission completes the vision"

As politicians they should fashion their passion for citizens of the nation and design their duty with a vision and just do it right the first time.

Do the right thing the first time.

"Intuition reveals passion which intern envisages a vision.

Mission completes the vision.

Methodology implemented industriously achieves success resulting in mission success upholding visions for ever and ever.

To solve anything peacefully we need communication, consultation and co-operation of the parties to the conflict concerned to rise above extremist views and uphold human values, understanding the need to sorting disputes, issues, grievances together to build a better future with peace and harmony. It is only then that every citizen would be able to contribute for Sri Lanka's Continues Growth (S.C.G.). This could be continued only by being positive and practical in implementing the indepth message enshrine in the Golden Letters "S.C.G." These three letters which simply come up on TV everytime the cricket matches are played on the "Sydney Cricket Grounds".

When I saw the last ashes series at the S.C.G. it struck my mind that these three letters (S.C.G.) have a greater meaning to lead the nation to greater heights if only followed and implemented meticulously by successive governments that come to power. Now with the Sri Lankan election due, I would put my thought and meaning of these three golden letters in relation to politics nationally and internationally in stages.

1) Security Control Government (very strict) "The price of Liberty is eternal vigilance" (extra caution) "Lest we forget"

2) Sincere Citizens for Generations through right education, knowledge & skills nonetheless above all "wisdom" to solve issues amicably.

3) Serving Citizens Genuinely for them in turn to play their part truely and faithfully in building prosperous nation.

4) Secure and safe Climate for Generations keeping in mind systematic climatic changes in generation to come.

5) Secure and sincere (multi) Culture for Generations upholding nation's values first and foremost as true citizens to protect and safeguard the country for further development ("Patriotism").

6) Sincere Contributions for Generations in relation to Economic Management, Health, Education and Developing the individual identity and independence and self-confidence to build the individual and the nation as a whole. Having a vision and following it uplifts the nation as a whole.

7) Success Culture for Generation to build the nation and to enjoy and celebrate life as a nation to be proud of.

8) Sports Culture for Generations as the sporting spirit should be the spirit of. Life to enhance human development and the nation as a whole not the least though entertainment and relaxation in various other useful ways as well.

9) Successfully Continuing Growth for peace and well-being for progress and prosperity as a nation united in diversity to develop and move forward with pride and dignity.

10) Any government coming to power should endeavour to be Sincere, Clean and Genuine in its efforts to build a better future for the nation. Citizens should follow suit in their efforts to build their individuality and self-confidence in promoting a Strong (contributing) Culture for Generations to come to life happily with peace and harmony and for them in turn to continue to do the same for ever and ever boosting.
