ACME selects Acuity Partners to raise capital, restructure
ACME Printing & Packaging has appointed Acuity Partners to assist
them with the restructuring of the company's equity.
"The company is looking into the possibility of raising capital to
reduce debt and increase working capital required to meet the increasing
demand for their products," Acme Chairman, Dinal Peiris told Daily News
Business.
The peaceful condition in the North and Eastern provinces has opened
the market for fast-moving consumer goods, the packaging of which is
mostly supplied by Acme.
He said the company intends setting up service centre in the North
and East to assist small entrepreneurs with their packaging
requirements.
Acme Printing & Packaging PLC plans to provide free design and
sampling services, giving entrepreneurs an opportunity to develop their
products to international standards.
The company recently set up their second factory in Pannala, Acme
Packaging Solutions (Private) Limited under the Gamata Karmanthaya
scheme and it is therefore entitled for an eight-year tax holiday.
