Minister launches website

Trade, Marketing, Cooperatives and Consumer Affairs Minister Bandula Gunawardene yesterday launched his website, www.bandulagunawardene.com at the Trade Ministry premises in Colombo.

Addressing the gathering, the Minister said that the website would meet a long felt need of the people who have been requesting him to launch this website for a long time.

He said the website also provides him the opportunity to interact with the public in and out of Sri Lanka.

The website would facilitate the people to communicate with him on a range of issues.

The members of the Inter University Economists' Association designed the website in gratitude to the Minister who had produced many intellectuals as a prominent economic teacher in Sri Lanka.

The Minister said that he has given economics and commerce knowledge for around 250,000 students across the country for nearly two decades. Most of them are qualified graduates who are employed in top positions in Sri Lanka and around the world.
