Lanka in Emirates catalogue

Sri Lanka has been featured as one of 14 popular destinations in an exclusive luxury holidays brochure produced by Emirates for the airline's customers in the United Kingdom.

Produced by Emirates Tours UK, the tour operating arm of the award-winning airline in the UK, the glossy catalogue titled 2010 EXCEPTIONAL devotes eight pages to Sri Lanka, describing the island as 'a land bursting with colour, energy and history.'

The section provides a description of Sri Lanka's many attractions, historic sites, cultural heritage, wildlife, hill country and beaches, and features ten hotel properties located in the Cultural Triangle, the hill country and the western and southern coasts.

It offers a choice of customised tour packages and an eight-day tour labelled 'Essential Sri Lanka' and a 15-day tour titled 'Sri Lanka in Style.'
