Sagara House - athletic champions

Sagara House with 491 points emerged champions of the Daranagama Maha Vidyalaya sports meet held at School grounds on Friday.

"Akasha" House came second with 476 points. "Prutivi" House was third with 445 points.

Western Provincial Council Chief Minister Prasanna Ranatunga, WPC member Gunasiri Jayanath (PA), Biyagama PS Chairman Prasanna Sampath (UNP), Vice Chairman Ananda Ganepola (Ind.), Opposition Leader Nalin Senaka Dissanayake (PA), Kelaniya Zonal Education Director M.S. Chandrasekara and Biyagama Divisional Education Director (Mrs) Renuka Edirisinghe graced the occasion.
