Speed Drome and AMRC to hold meet at Pannala
The Asian Motor Racing Club (AMRC) which introduced international
Formula race events to Sri Lanka has joined up with Speed Drome for a
revival of Formula races at Pannala once again.
AMRC will be conducting a Formula McLarens 1300 practice session on
March 14. The final round of the championship comprising of two races
will be held on March 28 at the Pannala Race Track. This is a
continuation of the championship races held in India last year.
Speed Drome is offering a subsidized all inclusive fee of Rs.
2,500.00 per entry.
The fee would include the use of race car for training session, plus
mechanics, tyres, fuel and transport of cars etc.
There will also be a race event driven by experienced drivers
followed by lunch at Pannala race track with the compliments of Speed
Drome.
AMRC is also offering a subsidized all inclusive fee of Rs. 25,000.00
per entry for participants of the race events who are mainly experienced
drivers. The fee would include the use of race car for practice session,
heats and the races plus mechanics, tyres, fuel and transport of cars to
and from track etc.
All entrants will be given an opportunity to qualify and thereafter
heats will determine the final 10 drivers to participate in the two
races which will determine the points for the championship. Rules and
regulations are same as we have applied before.
