Another weapons haul

Military Spokesman Major General Prasad Samarasinghe said troops continued operations at Mundampiddy, Adampan, Murusumadu, Anichiyankulam and Vellamullivaikkal on Tuesday.

They recovered one T-56 weapon and another damaged T 56 weapon, one Rangan 99 anti personnel mine, six hand grenades, 28 Rocket Propelled Grenades (RPG), five RPG chargers, seven hundred and fifty 7.62 x 39 mm ammunition, twenty six 60mm mortar bombs, seven Arul bombs, eight RPG fuses, twenty-five 31 mm rounds, one AK 47 weapon, two claymore mines and four I-com communication sets.
