Jordan extols Palestine cause
JORDAN: Palestine is one of the outstanding points in the current
diplomatic priorities of Jordan, said Jordan Foreign Minister Nasser
Judeh, who mentioned the Jordanian interest in keeping open channels
with all the countries of the world.
Defining the outlines of the foreign policy of Jordan, Judeh assured
they are based on the principles of the Jordan National Constitution,
Islamic values and the postulates of the Great Arabian Revolution of
1936-1939 when Palestine was fighting the British domination.
The Jordanian Foreign Minister said his country's diplomacy is
committed to the international right, outlined the international
legitimacy and respect for human rights, solidarity and collaboration
with the situation in the Middle East.
He said that Jordan is committed to continue its efforts to end the
Israeli occupation on all the Palestinian territories and foster the
establishment of an independent Palestinian country.
He condemned Israel for the recent violations to the Islamic sacred
places and sites, demolition of dwellings, expulsion, excavations, and
construction of Jewish settings in Jerusalem and the West Bank. Amman,
