Dickwella century for Trinity

Seventeen-year-old Niroshan Dickwella stroke a brilliant 107 with 18
four for Trinity college to steal the honours in their schools under 19
cricket tournament match against Kingswood College which ended in a draw
at the Asgiriya Stadium, Kandy.
Kingswoodians were set a victory target of 160 in 45 overs before
rain stopped played with the visitors making 61 for 4 in 27 overs.
Niroshan Dickwella scored his second hundred for the season and made
a lions contribution in making 107 out of a total of 180. If not for
this knock, the Trinitians would have been dismissed for a lower total.
But still the Kingswoodians gained a first innings.
Trinity College 180 all out in 41.5 over (Niroshan Dickwella 107,
Suresh Wickrema 15, M. Sajid 15, K. Jayasuriya 10, Rushan Jaleel 15,
Chamila Gunasekera 4 for 50, Lahiru Gannoruwa 3 for 27) and 188 for 5
declared in 41 overs (Heshan Wanniarachchi 58 not out, Rushan Jaleel 50,
Shameera Wijesuriya 41, Niroshan Dickwella 27).
Kingswood College 208 all out in 74.4 over (Yasintha Athukorale 57,
Lakshitha Madushanka 31, Imesh Rabel 31, Tilina Karunaratne 25, Nisitha
Weerakoon 19, Chinthaka Gokula 4 for 39, Rushan Jaleel 3 for 48, Mohamed
Anas 2 for 30) and61 for 4 wickets in 27 overs (Imesh Rabel 22, M.
