Market bounces

Indices at the Colombo Stock Exchange bounced back on renewed buying interest with the ASPI gaining 30 points (+0.8 percent) to close at 3,721 whereas the MPI was up 76 points (+1.8 percent) to close at 4,269.

Turnover for the day was Rs 1.7 billion with Sampath Bank seeing Rs 320 million in turnover.

The share closed at Rs 220.25, gaining Rs 8.00 for the day. Environmental Resources saw price gains on all its instruments as total turnover from shares and warrants came to Rs 475 million. First Guardian Equities
